Hassan Razavi co-founded MESHKAT, an Iranian international law firm, after working as Counsel and head of the Tehran office of August Debouzy, a Paris-based international law firm. He started his practice as member of the Iran Central Bar Association and in-house legal expert for international companies and JVs in Iran. He was notably head of the legal and compliance department of Naftiran Intertrade Co., the financial arm of the National Iranian Oil Company in Switzerland, tasked with trading crude oil, oil products and financial oil and gas projects in Iran, before becoming managing partner in an Iran-based international law firm, Vakil.
Hesam Khoshgovari is an attorney-at-law and member of the Iranian Central Bar Association. He has experience in working with international law firms, including CMS-CMNO law firm (Tehran office) and Shayan law firm for four years.He has experience in advising on contentious and non-contentious matters in Iran with a focus on commercial and banking transactions, including distribution agreements, agency agreements, sales and purchase of goods, local licensing requirements and compliance issues.
Fateme Zeynodini joined Meshkat as a partner after working at the Vakil law firm. Fateme started her practice as an international contract advisor for trading companies in 2009. Fateme’s bijuridical business law studies in civil law (Iran, Tehran University) and common law (Canada, University of Montreal) allow her to advise international companies established in common law jurisdictions on issues related to their businesses with Iran, including investments and commercial contracts.
Mohammad Reza Salari
Mohammad Reza Salari joined MESHKAT as an associate to develop its corporate and energy law practice. He started his legal career as an intern at the law firm of Dr. Rostayi and Associates advising Iranian and non-Iranian companies on their daily businesses in Iran. He has also developed a strong practice in telecommunication law, notably by working at Setareh Avval Company, a subsidiary of Mobile Telecommunication Company of Iran (MCI; Hamrahe Aval), the first and largest mobile operator in Iran.
