Mostafa Jafari joined MESHKAT as an associate to develop its arbitration and litigation practice. Mostafa started his legal career as a legal expert at Dana Energy Company, one of the leading Iranian private oil and gas companies. He has also developed a strong practice in Iranian start-up law, notably by assisting start-up accelerators and companies in co-working spaces in their dealings with Iranian law and regulations.
Mostafa also advises non-Iranian companies in compliance with economic sanctions, repatriation and expatriation of foreign investments and the localization of commercial contracts.

- Advising companies in co-working spaces on statutory compliance, identifying regulatory requirements and drafting relevant bylaws both in English and Persian.
- Advising start-up accelerators in their policy development to promote statutory compliance in addition to identifying regulatory requirements and necessary governmental approvals.
- Drafting legal documentation including non-disclosure agreements, web design and service contracts.
- Instituting labor suits before the Iranian Administrative Justice Court on behalf of individual parties against different Iranian governmental bodies.
